Helping Families and Friends Honour Their Loved One
The staff members of Kennedy Funeral Home will guide your family in creating a meaningful ceremony to honour the life and memory of a loved one. A ceremony can be anything you wish it to be: simple or elaborate, traditional or unique. No matter how it's tailored, such a ceremony is an important step in recovering from loss.

2011 Year in Review
Saturday, January 21, 2012It was a crazy year for us. We served in excess of 80 families this past year, something that has not been done for decades. Both Jenn and I are proud to be your preferred funeral home over the last five years. Just recently we reinvested in our company by purchasing our own funeral coach (hearse). No more renting! We spent a better part of 2011 testing new technology and plan to introduce even more unique services for you and your family. We increased our lounge size for you to better accomodate dinners between visitations and even small receptions in our 1880's style dining room. Families from Windsor have even seen value in what we do as we now serve an entire Church family from South Windsor. Once again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for allowing us the opportunity to serve your family in your time of need. You have allowed us to invest in ideas that make the process of arranging funerals a little easier. Sincerely: Tony & Jenn de Ryk - Owners Quick Facts: Kennedy's was founded in 1938 and is the only 100% locally owned funeral home in Essex (except for our friend in Essex South-Mike Smith from Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home. Please take the time to have a look at Mike's funeral home. He has been renovating the entire place and its beautiful! Read more

Even though Brian didn't technically leave, he has been limited to us because of shift work. With Ready Bake now closing we look forward to have his smiling face around here a little more! Read more
