Karl Everett Laramie
August 17, 1933 - June 21, 2022
With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Karl on June 21, 2022, in Wardsville, Ontario. Loving husband of the late Muriel (nee Morrison-2000). Dear father of David Laramie, Laura Janisse, Karel Chisholm (Will), Nancy Vaterlaus (Rudy), and the late Don Laramie (Pam) (2016). Treasured grandpa of 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Brother of Phyllis Beatty (late Malcolm) and the late Arnold Laramie (Shirley). Brother-in-law of Margaret Beach (Larry), Ruth Williamson (Dick), and Janet Grien. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Karl retired from Chrysler Canada after many years of service. He was a proud member of the Essex OPP Detachment as an Auxiliary Police Officer for over 25 years. Karl also served in the Royal Canadian Airforce. Karl is resting at the Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd. (519-776-7378) 128 Talbot St. North, Essex on Friday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Karl’s life will be celebrated from the funeral home on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow.
