Cherished mother of Joanne and the late Johann Loscher, Mel Defausses, and Albert (Angela) Defausses. She is best known as Jackie to those around her but the most important title to her was Mémé. She was mémé to her grandchildren David, Darren (Linda), and Dustin (Michelle) Girard, Danielle (Jason) Zaborek, Aj (Vicky), Alicia, Kyle (Ashley), Madison (Corey), Brandon Defausses and Hope Holla. Special aunt to Jackie Evans. Great grandmother to many great grandchildren. Jackie is preceded in death by her 7 siblings all now lovingly reunited.

Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd. (519-776-7378) 128 Talbot St. North in Essex on Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of the life celebration at 1:30 p.m. Father Larry Brunett officiating. Special thanks to the staff of Erie Shores Hospice and Erie Shores Healthcare for your care and compassion. Donations may be made to the Erie Shores Health Foundation (Erie Shores Hospice) or to a charity of your choice.

She was a dear wife, mother, mémé, great grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. She will be greatly missed and remembered for her funny jokes, her giving nature and kind and loving heart. An angel above us of all, looking over her family now and forever.

Until we meet again and save me a front row seat.
